2. DBS Guidance - Team Managers

The following guidelines are for those Team Managers who have been assigned Club DBS Administrator rights. To get access please contact the Junior Secretary.

As part of the process for introducing new volunteers to Age Grade teams the following must be conducted prior to conducting a DBS Check:

• A Volunteer Application & Declaration Form is to be completed in full by the prospective volunteer and forwarded to the Club Safeguarding Officer
• Conduct the new online Safeguarding Awareness Course
• Issue the volunteer with a copy of the relevant role description

Once the DBS is complete, volunteers are encouraged to conduct the RFU Play it Safe Course at the earliest opportunity.
