Fantastic Yorkshire Cup Plate Final

Wetherby U16s showed great teamwork and spirit today. Narrowly missing out on the silverware to a strong 16/17s combined Middlesbrough team. In front of a good-sized crowd.

An enthralling end-to-end arm wrestle. That kept all sides guessing the outcome right until the final seconds. Middlesbrough's age and experience serving them well in the final 10 minutes.

Strong performances across the squad. Led well by Captain Campling and Vice Captain Farmer-Beasley. With the troops expertly marshalled by Carr at 9. Who contributed 2 tries and an assist to put in Potts out wide.

The future for the club looks extremely bright indeed.
