WETHERBY POWER TO A MASSIVE VICTORY BY 136 TO NIL
Wetherby powered to a massive victory over Sheffield Oaks at Grange Park. The result of 20 tries and 18 conversions had the Club's stalwarts scratching their heads to think of any game when ever there has been higher points scored than 136 .
It was a procession of scorers which resulted from the Red's pace and at times some sublime handling. There were eleven try scorers and only two missed conversions. Barney Roberts and Myles Oates each scored 4 tries and the Adair Brothers got 2 each. The forwards were not outshone with Tom Edwards getting 2 and props Bradley Mason and Elliot Griffiths scoring. Will Dutton and Tom Bottomley added one apiece. Connor Sheriden slotted 10 goals plus a try and Alex Dus added 8 conversions.
Whilst the visitors were a poor side the large crowd enjoyed the fluid attacks by Wetherby and that they did not ease off when so far in front.
