Our 1st XV travelled over to Cleckheaton in an early bottom of the table clash, looking for a much needed victory. They started the game well, racing into a 12 point lad within 20 minutes but two key injuries slowed their momentum. Failing to finish off several chances and some ill discipline at key moments proved costly as Cleckheaton clawed their way back into the game.
Tries: Penalty, M Embleton

Our 2nd XV battled the elements and an organised North Ribblesdale side at Grange Park. Playing into the wind in the first half, Wetherby did well to keep the scoreline to 0-17 at half-time as they barely entered the opposition half. Two quick tries after half-time put Wetherby firmly back in the game before conceding a key try to put the game out of reach. A late try brought Wetherby within 7 points and earned them a losing bonus point.
