Our 1st XV travelled to an unhappy hunting ground at Old Brodleians, looking to record their first victory there. Playing uphill first half, the wheels came off for the first half an hour as Old Brods scored 5 unanswered tries and a penalty to lead 34-0. Wetherby scored just before half-time as Harry Kaye got over for an unconverted try to give them some hope. Two quick tries early in the second half from Fran Ortelli and Jack Wilson gave Wetherby hope, especially with Brods reduced to 14. Unfortunately a disjointed last 20 minutes left the remainder of the game scoreless and Wetherby came away with nothing.

Our 2nd XV conceded their fixture against Selby due to a lack of player numbers. This is an extremely disappointing outcome, and something we will hopefully see turned round quickly.
