Our 1st XV let the game slip away from them in the final stages over at Pocklington. After trading blows with impressive Pocklington pack, Wetherby held a slender 19-21 lead with 15 minutes to go. The wheels then unfortunately fell off as Pocklington scored three unanswered tries to leave the red and whites heading home with nothing.
Tries: C Donnelly, J Mchugh.
Conv: O Walters (2)

Our 2nd XV had another chastening afternoon in Yorkshire 3A as unavailabilities again played havoc with the squad. A tough first half an hour against an impressive Morley team saw them trailing by 32 points. A well worked try gave Wetherby hope just before half time but the relentless opposition pulled further away in the second half. Wetherby chalked up another well worked try but unfortunately it couldn't gloss over a tough afternoon.
Tries: H Dalton, J Greenwood
Conv: A Youlden (2)
