The Selby Relic Cyclists (who meet on a Wednesday evening and Saturday morning at Sandhill Lane) and players and friends from Selby Rugby Club are getting on their bikes for a sponsored bike ride to Wetherby RUFC in memory of Selby team captain, and Wetherby RUFC former player Tom Edwards.

The bike ride will start at Selby's clubhouse on Sandhill Lane on Sunday 25th June at 10.00 am on a route taking them through the leafy villages of Yorkshire. The group are aiming to arrive at Wetherby RUFC around 11.30 am. Fellow cyclists and friends of Tom's are to join the peloton for the return journey back to Selby around 1 o'clock.

Entry is a suggested donation of £25 which will include refreshments once back at Sandhill Lane and all proceeds will go to Grassroots Suicide Prevention. For anyone who doesn't have a bicycle but would like to join in this event, there will be a BBQ from 3 o'clock onwards at Selby Rugby Club, tickets £12 for food and includes a donation to the Grassroots charity - or just come and join us for a drink or two!
