Wetherby face Leeds Modernians this weekend in the first of three fixtures against Cookridge based outfit, having also drawn them in the second round of the Yorkshire Silver Trophy.
Despite a string of due to the England World Cup Game, and Leeds Rhinos both playing in Manchester, the Reds have selected a strong outfit to play Leeds Modernians.
Youngster Billy Cale, will make his 1XV debut after impressing in the Crusaders with two tries and conversions to his name. Captain Danny Warden also returns to the squad having been unavailable for the last two weeks.
Wetherby ran out 34-5 victors in a Yorkshire Silver Trophy semi-final tie in March of this year, but expect a much tighter game this time around. Leeds Modernians have had a mixed start to the season having picked up victories against Bramley and Aireborough but have lost against Goole, Harrogate and Thornensians.
Kick off is at Grande Park at 3:00pm.
