Wetherby RUFC will start life in Yorkshire Three tomorrow as they travel to South Yorkshire to play Stocksbridge RUFC.
The last four encounters against Stocksbridge, all coming in Yorkshire Four, have been tight affairs, with the Reds drawing the last encounter away at Stocksbridge 22 a piece in the 2013/14 season, Andrew Trotman grabbing a brace of tries along side Will Jefferson and Liam Hogan. Stocksbridge are coming off a 34-16 loss at Baildon in the Yorkshire Silver Trophy and will be hoping to kick start there season against the Reds.
Wetherby welcome back Matthew Bartle and Jonathan Day to the club after several years absence, but have named a strong side which features last seasons top scorer and National Rugby Award finalist Conor Sheridan.
The experts at YorkshireRugby.net have Stocksbridge as the favourites for this encounter, stating that home advantage will prove critical for the South Yorkshire side. However the Reds will be hoping that last seasons free scoring backline will continue to fire in Yorkshire Three.
Kick off is at 3:00pm at Coal Pit Lane.
