Wetherby travel to Ovenden Park this weekend as they play early season title contenders Halifax in a Yorkshire Four clash. Ovenden Park has been a happy hunting ground for Wetherby over the last two seasons having recorded 13-10 and 50-17 wins over the last two seasons. Wetherby also recorded a home win against Halifax last season with a 34-20 win at Grange Park.

Both teams will be looking to put a early season dent in each others promotion push, and Halifax will be full of confidence following a 27-7 win away against Sheffield Oaks last week.

Wetherby hand a debut to Alexander Hills, whilst Will Dutton and Elliott Griffiths recover from knocks to bolster the Wetherby Pack.
