Wetherby RUFC Needs YOU this Weekend!
With the club going from strength to strength on and off the field we are pleased to announce that we are fielding three teams this weekend.
With the rising success of the Senior Sides 1XV and ever increasing numbers in the Crusaders the decision has been made to relaunch the 3XV.
This weekend the 3XV, which in essence is a Vets team, will make their debut against Selby Vets at Grange Park in a 2:15pm kick off. Crusaders will also be at home against Morley Development, whilst the 1XV are away in a top of the table clash against York RI.
Increased player retention and the success of the two teams has welcomed back more and more players to the club. With a thriving junior section it is only a matter of time before more senior sides are active within the club. Around 60 players will be pulling on the red and white hoops this weekend which will mark a momentous day for the club.
We are encouraging junior parents to join in this weekend ansd anyone wishing to play for Wetherby please do not hesitate to contact either Geoff Brown, Nick Oates, Chris Warburton, Andy Hewitt, Marcus Little or James Gibson.
