Wetherby nominated for three National Rugby Awards

Wetherby 1XV nominated for team of the year, Conor Sheridan for Men's player of the year, and Mike Mchugh-Hicks nominated for coach of the year.

Wetherby Rugby Club are celebrating three nominations for the national rugby awards to be held at Twikenham on the

Wetherby have been nominated for team of the year (amateur) after there unbeaten season which saw them win 27 consecutive games on their way to Yorkshire Four and Yorkshire Silver Trophy Success.

Mike Mchugh-Hicks has been nominated for coach of the year, after guiding the 1XV to their two titles and also the U17 boys to a Yorkshire league championship and the National Bowl final.

Conor Sheridan has been nominated for player of the year (amateur) after scoring 476 points on 2014/15 along with 39 tries in all competitions.
