The 2014/15 season is right around the corner and Wetherby RUFC are looking for a strong performance against Yorkshire Four newcomers Knaresborough in the first round of the Yorkshire Silver Trophy. It's been 19 months since the two fierce rivals have faced off in a competitive fixture and sparks are sure to fly as the two lock horns at Grange Park this Saturday.

Head Coach has named a strong nineteen man squad for the team and welcomes back Rob Adair and Will Dutton to the club to add depth and competition for places for the Reds. Last seasons leading try scorer Conor Sheridan is also named in the exciting back line.

Wetherby will have to be at there best to beat their local rivals. They last played in the 2013/14 season and shared a victory a piece, the last game at Grange Park saw Wetherby run out 29-7 winners with Jack Kaye, Andrew Trotman and WIll Cayton grabbing the tries.

Kick off is at 3:00pm and we welcome all to come down and support the team.
