Charlie was a regular on the touchline of Crusaders matches however most will remember him as a fantastic tourist. Charlie joined Wetherby RUFC having previously played for Leos and Burley. He played in the 2nds, 3rds and finally the Vets making the position of hooker his own.

Charlie is best summed up in the words of one of our players:

“What a fantastic, charismatic man, provided many stories and many laughs... His values and ethos will always be bestowed by WRUFC I'm sure.
Our thoughts are with Charlie's family”.

The funeral will be held at Stonefall Cemetery Harrogate, Wetherby Road, Harrogate, HG3 1DE on Friday 14th November at 2.20pm. A wake will be afterwards at Knaresborough RUFC, Hay - A - Park Lane, Knaresborough, HG5 0FE
